Happy Holidays!!

This year has gone by really fast and I am so grateful for everything that has happened to me and my family. I want to thank you all for allowing me to photograph your weddings and for making me a part of your special day. I made a promise to myself that I would, to the best of my ability, make your event as meaningful and special to me, as it is to you. God has been so good to me that I am thankful every day that He has allowed me to do what I love the most. I wish you the best in life and remember; dreams can come true. I am an example of that. Happy Holidays! Health and love to all of you.

Wedding in Ventura County; Simi Valley California

The wedding of Dolores and Scott was held over the Thanksgiving weekend. What a wonderful month to get married (as Dolores, I did it too, in November).
Diana’s house, in Simi Valley, was the perfect setting for this intimate wedding. Dolores looked so beautiful that Scott kept smiling, BIG, all day long!!
They celebrated their marriage in a very intimate way by inviting only those who meant a lot to them. Thank you for making me a part of your wedding day!
After the ceremony took place, we had some time to do some portraits of the family and of the new husband and wife. So, I present to you my favorites of the day.

Make-up by Kiss the Bride
Cake by Skiff’s Cakes in Simi Valley

Wedding at St Vincents Catholic Church

Friends,
I hope all of you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday and ate tons of delicious food along with my favorite; apple pie, yum!
Christmas is quickly approaching and I hope that everything is well with your loved ones and friends. Me, I couldn’t be happier!!
I had the pleasure of working with Cynthia and Juan, photographing their wedding. As I arrived at Cynthia’s house, I was just thinking how this was one of my last weddings of the year. :( That kind of made me a little teary-eyed.
You may ask, why? Well, I am not sure if you have noticed, but I love what I do!! I love to photograph people that are in love and to be a witness to such events.
The wedding of Cynthia and Juan was fantastic. They decided to see each other before the ceremony so that we could take more time for photographs. We had so much fun. The church, in which they were married , was so beautiful!! Cynthia looked stunning! Loved her Spanish look; very classy and elegant. Juan looked so handsome and dapper and ready to marry the girl of his dreams.
Special thanks to my dear friend Miguel Pola for referring me to Juan and Cynthia. Also to Rene Miranda for helping me with this event.
