Happy New Year!

I can believed that this 2008 it's almost gone! UFF! I know it has been a weird year for all of Us, with good new and bad news over all weird. I had some sad moments this year, loosing my Doggie of 15 years was hard for me.. I know that he it's in doggie heaven.
I also witness a fantastic turn in the history of the United states.. the first African American President that was cosmic.
Some good things, bad things, sad things but over all I am so thankful that I have Fernando my husband and that my family are healthy and well.
I want to take a moment to THANK YOU!!!!! thank you for visiting me and sending me e-mails and oferting me your friendship, thank you so much for all your support in 2008, I can wait for this new year to start.. I have so many things I am working on, I know this coming year will be fantastic!

last week I got a phone call from Mrs Engel, she was planning to surprise her mother in law for christmas. So she called me and we plan the session at Shawn's house. The house it's beautiful huge pool and nice green areas, perfect for dogs. I had a great time with her..
Shawn love her dogs as much as I do.. if I ever need a person to take care of my own dog Sammy, she will be the one I choose.

Yahoo Christmas party at the Highlands

On Saturday the company Yahoo! had the Christmas party for all the employes, It was the christmas party of the year.. it was awesome!! I had so much fun, Roger and I drove to the Highlands in Holywood beautiful place.. Its so big.. every room was fill with "las Vegas" theme.. they even had a casino with all the tables for poker and craps. The event coordinators from Yahoo Christy and Joei did a fantastic job organizing everything.. the gourmet food was cater by Wolfgang Puck.. It was perfect! the band was the heart of the party.. Notorious! keep the crowd happy and motivated with awesome songs.. Jerry Yang the founder of Yahoo! came to visit and of course I had to take a photo with him..Some images of the night

Photographer for newborn and toddlers.. that's me

Being a Photographer that works with babies and toddlers gives me a lots of joy. Now that the wedding season it's quiet down, I get to enjoyed the other side of this wonderful opportunity being a photographer working with kids makes me feel like a kid again.. I get to play and just enjoyed them.. In this session Eliza and Emerson did a great job. We spend a few hours at the Calle's home in Moorpark. I been photographing Eliza and Emerson since they where newborn, That it's priceless for me.
I even got a few portrait of the dogs Joel and Jackey..

Happy thanksgiving!!!

Today I am so grateful for all the wonderful things have came my way, for all the wonderful brides and grooms that I have photographed, all the families and pets I have been in contact with.. That is what I am grateful for.

The Wppi award of excellence book

I have great new friends! If you are reading this message is because you been following all my posts, and I thank you for that.. well I got wonderful news!. This week I got a huge surprise! I received the book that WPPI published every year with one of my portraits, for me this is a huge deal. I have participated in a competition in las Vegas hosted by Wedding and Portrait photographers international WPPI my image made the book. In 2009, I am going to submit 4 different images in 3 different categories.. wish me luck!

Wedding in Fullerton, Orange County

On Saturday Charles and Nichole tied the knot in the city of Fullerton. It was a very intimate wedding. The mom of the groom did a double duty that day, she was of course the mom of the groom, but also the pastor of the night. What an amazing moment!.. that's prices less. After the ceremony the wedding party and Us walked around the city to find some incredible places to shoot.

John and Carrie got married at the Lindero Country club

John and Carrie tied the knott. It was a fabulous wedding celebration. The day was beautiful, we where worried the forecast predicted rain.. We where happy! the day was beautiful sunny and blue sky. We have a fantastic time with lots of tears of happiness and full of laughters Debbie Johnson the Banquet Director from Lindero Country club did a perfect job making sure everything run smoothly.. I have to Thank Carrie's Mom for working so hard making sure her that only daughter had the perfect wedding, she succeed. Keith Price from the music magic entertainment keep the music going and everyone happy and dancing.
