Chris and Elena's Wedding in Santa barbara

This past Saturday Chris and Elena tied the knot in Santa Barbara. The day started well; it happened to be Memorial Day weekend. It was a good time to photograph a wedding in Santa Barbara. I have always wanted to be part of a wedding like this one. The family, the most important people to Elena and Chris, were invited and were part of the celebration. I felt so good all day, Elena looked preciosa! I arrived at the Fess Parker’s Doubletree Resort located in Santa Barbara, and as I was looking for the room, I saw many brides getting married. It is a great hotel. After everyone gathered, we all rode a trolley that they had rented for the occasion. I had so much fun! Then we all arrived at the beautiful Court House in Santa Barbara, the place for wedding photography and the place where Chris and Elena got married. Then we all jumped in the trolley again and had a wonderful time at Stella Mare’s French Country Cuisine. Then the tequila shots started. I want to thank everyone for making me feel like a guest!!

Rangerfinder Magazine June edition...

Today I received the Rangerfinder magazine, which I been waiting for anxiously. Why? you may ask!. Well, because there is an article about my experience in the WPPI 2008 convention. The Art director of the Magazine Susan Cegarra asked me to write about my own experience at the trade show and the platform speakers. I was flattered for the opportunity since I was able to described my experience in English and Spanish. In the magazine I showed some of my work including the print that received an award of excellence in the children category.

I’m so happy to have photograph Faith and her parents.. I just love Faith!! She makes me smile and she is a wonderful little girl who had been trough hard time at her very young age..

While camping at Pismo Beach, CA on Friday, November 24th, 2006(the day after Thanksgiving) Faith burned her hand quite badly. Amber, Faith and Adam had just finished eating dinner and went out to sit by the campfire and relax for the evening. After just a few minutes, Faith walked a few feet away from her parents to get a toy she saw. On her way back toward her parents she tripped and fell toward the fire where her left hand went straight into the bottom. that split second, her hand was injured with 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree burns.

(while on the phone with 911 to get directions to the emergency room, Adam was pulled over by park rangers who are EMT trained; they also doused and wrapped Faith's hand and provided Adam with a map to the hospital.)
The hospital was only a couple of miles away.
Faith was quickly attended to by the ER staff and given a pain killer; she fell asleep shortly thereafter.
A few hours later they took Faith to the Grossman Burn Center (a renown treatment center) at the Sherman Oaks Hospital. I am happy to show you this little girl who love life and she loves to share a sweet smile to everyone...

Larry and Michelle engagement

This is Larry and Michelle's engagement session


It almost time, in April 19th I’ll have the honor of photographing Michelle and Larry’s Wedding, we meet last year and I fall in love with them!
They are the most put together couple and they have everything well organized, It will be a blast. There venue is the hotel Marriott in Marina del Rey and are getting married at Mothers Beach. I can wait! It will be spectacular!
Just so you know…They are so cute together! Michelle is so sweet and so beautiful and Larry is a handsome men who loves to keep everything organized… I like that Larry!
We meet for there engagement session, which I recommend to any bride, it’s a good way to get to know your photographer and to get a sense of what it would be the day of..
